The
Iron Ax 925 Log Loader is a heavy duty machine with many benefits
and advantages. The machines are equipped with a Cummins engine,
and a double section variable displacement piston pump producing
60.8 gallons of oil flow per section and up to 4,975 pounds of
hydraulic pressure. The machine is equipped with a main boom,
stick, live heel, and an Iron Ax grapple. The grapple has a 60”
opening wth a 360 degree hydraulic rotator.
Engine
The machine is powered by a high efficiency Cummins QSB 6.7 -
490 cubic inch electronically controlled turbo diesel engine.
The engine operates at 2,200 RPM’s and is highly fuel efficient.
It is cooled by a hydraulically driven automatic variable speed
reversible fan through an aluminum radiator. This system is highly
efficient in dissipating heat.
Operation
The log loader features a self elevating cab. The operator has
total control of the height of the cab. The maximum elevation
is 17 feet eye level above the ground for superior visibility.
Forestry
& Cab Guard Package
Each log loader is equipped with a guard package for the cab
and side compartment and heavy duty running boards that will also
assist in protecting the machine in its operating environment.
The
boom tucks under for easy transport and is of legal height.
The grapple doesn’t have to be removed in order to transport
the machine. |

of the filters together in an easily accessible location. |

sits on 180” x 31 1/2” triple grouser shoes per side which gives
